The online platform Hub hosted where users could manage all of their content with enterprise apps. Projects, Users, Customers, and Insights were the four pages a user would spend the most. The interface was complete but looked plain when a user was starting out. The challenge became what could improve each page both visually and conceptually?
As the visual design lead, I researched the platform and how exactly a user would experience each page, online and in their field. I synthesized these experiences into icons and designed them into a referenced cityscape. Each design had the same stroke, light source, and followed Hub’s color palette.
The finished designs not only add depth to the pages but it also improves users’ understanding. The company received great feedback and interaction with the platform increased.
